Steve Feldman, MD, founder of DrScore, states, "This year marks the first time a nurse practitioner has been in the top five runners up,” Dr. Feldman said. “This may reflect an important trend for medical practices as health care continues to evolve —everyone on the frontlines is vitally important in improving patient satisfaction.”
Important trend indeed and some additional proof that NPs are highly regarding by their patients. It's also time to expand these rankings to other providers beyond physicians to include nurse practitioners and physician assistants to name a few.

It's about time that we are getting ranked with the doctors! Congrats to that NP!
Since NP's will have to pick up the primary care void that is only getting worse they should be recognized.
This is definitely great news. NPs play an important role of providing high quality healthcare in a busy healthcare world. This just goes to show the value that NPs give to a healthcare system! And also why it's consistently in lists of being the best job on the market!

Congrats to that NP! I am just a newbie FNP student, but I love love hearing stuff like this. I recently wrote a research paper on patient satisfaction and the care of NP's in the United States. Evidence-based studies showed that NP's have an extremely high patient satisfaction rating ESPECIALLY in ED's existing in rural and underserved clinics. YAY!
